Formed in 1993 as a private bank, Centrum Bank continues the tradition of the law firm Marxer & Partner, which was founded by Dr. Dr. Ludwig Marxer in Vaduz in 1925.
As a pure private bank for discerning national and international clients, Centrum Bank focuses on its core competences of discretionary portfolio management and investment advisory services. Complementary to the investment business the bank offers broad lending options.
The bank has a clear and stable ownership structure and is not listed on the stock market. The majority of shares are controlled by Marxer family. For three generations already, members of the Marxer family have been active in the corporate group.
Centrum Bank is the fourth-largest bank in the Principality of Liechtenstein.

The bank is also represented in Zurich with Centrum Bank (Switzerland) Ltd., an autonomously run subsidiary under Swiss law.
