The Liechtenstein Financial Center

The Principality of Liechtenstein is a member of two economic blocs:  the Swiss/Liechtenstein currency region and the European Economic Area. Liechtenstein has maintained an economic, customs and currency union with Switzerland since 1923. This relationship is characterised by open borders and a common currency, the Swiss Franc. The Principality of Liechtenstein has been a member of the European Economic Area (EEA) since 1995.
