Confida Trust and Auditing Company is founded, offering trust, auditing, tax, general management and real estate services as well as asset management.
1993
Centrum Bank Vaduz is opened, taking over 17 employees in asset management from Confida Trust and Auditing Company.
1995
Centrum Bank joins the Liechtenstein Bankers Association and the Swiss Bankers Association.
1998
The Centrum Bank Foundation for the Promotion of Art and Science is established. Since 2000, the bank has been the main sponsor of the Liechtenstein Symphony Orchestra. The Foundation has supported the German-Japanese pianist Alice Sara Ott since 2005. She is considered one of the most talented pianists in the world.
2000
Centrum Bank joins the Liechtenstein Investment Fund Association; since 1998, it has served as a custodian bank for investment funds.
2001
Centrum Bank joins the Deposit Guarantee and Investor Protection Foundation of the Liechtenstein Bankers Association.
2003
Centrum Bank moves into the new bank building commissioned by the Ludwig Marxer Family Foundation. The building was designed by Hans Hollein the internationally acclaimed architect from Vienna.
2004
Syncoma Establishment is founded as the new provider of compliance, internal services and human resources for the Competence Center.
2005
Centrum Bank acquires a one-third equity stake in Belvédère Asset Management AG in Zurich (www.belvedere-am.com).
2006
Centrum Bank is awarded the highest distinction, "summa cum laude", in the Elite Report on asset managers in German-speaking countries. The bank receives this distinction again in 2007 to 2010.
2009
Centrum Bank expands abroad. With the formation of Centrum Bank (Switzerland) Ltd., an independent run bank under Swiss law, it begins operations in Zurich.
