Our Commitment

Centrum Bank Foundation for the Promotion of Art and Science

Reflecting our strong bond with the Principality of Liechtenstein, we are primarily committed to supporting local culture and the communities from which it stems. Centrum Bank began its cultural commitment in 1998, just five years after its formation, with its support of the Liechtenstein Symphony Orchestra. Since then we have been the main sponsor of the Symphony Orchestra, which also serves as a musical ambassador of our country far beyond its borders.

In September 1998, the Centrum Bank Foundation for the Promotion of Art and Science was established and endowed with annual donations. Two years after the tenth anniversary of the bank, the Board of Trustees resolved to undertake a major sponsorship for the first time in the form of a gift: Alice Sara Ott, a young, exceptionally talented musician, received a Steinway grand piano for Christmas 2005. By providing such sponsorships and organising various events, Centrum Bank aspires to create and nurture long-term partnerships. This in turn reflects our desire for continuity, trust and cooperation.
