As part of its cultural commitment, the Centrum Bank Foundation promotes not only regional but also extraordinary international projects. By supporting the Geyre Foundation, the Centrum Bank Foundation makes a contribution to preserve important international cultural assets for future generations.

The Geyre Foundation works for the preservation of ancient cultural assets. The main project consists in the support of the archaeological excavation site “Aphrodisias“ in the South West of Turkey and the attached museum. On account of its numerous well-preserved ruins, Aphrodisias belongs to the most important archaeological sites from Greco-Roman times in the Eastern Mediterranean region. The origins of the settlement can be traced back up to the 3^rd millennium B.C. The remains of the still visible temple of Aphrodite date back to the 1st century B.C.
