Centrum Bank Foundation
Art and culture are defining forces in a free, innovative and open society. Manifold and thought-provoking impulses develop at the flashpoint between individual creativity and social dialogue. These can be brought to bear in a creative, constructive and identity-establishing manner on all levels of a communitiy.
Nowadays, responsibility for a rich and cultural form of co-existence lies in the hands of both the public and private sectors. Centrum Bank is well aware of this social responsibility: in 1998, the bank set up the Centrum Bank Foundation to support exceptional cultural and scientific projects at both local and international level. We see the promotion of music, art and science as an inherent part of our corporate responsibility and our company culture. The Centrum Bank Foundation is an associate partner of the Vereinigung liechtensteinischer gemeinnütziger Stiftungen (Association of Charitable Foundations in Liechtenstein), which was established in December 2010.
Two years after the tenth anniversary of the bank, the Board of Trustees of the Centrum Bank Foundation resolved to undertake a major sponsorship for the first time in the form of a gift: Alice Sara Ott, a young, exceptionally talented musician, received a Steinway grand piano for Christmas 2005. In 2010, the Centrum Bank Foundation is supporting the Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein as the exclusive sponsor of the museum's anniversary publication "10 Years Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein". Since 2012, the foundation has been supporting the NEXT GENERATION Classic Festival in Bad Ragaz as main sponsor.
By providing such sponsorships and organising various events, Centrum Bank aspires to create and nurture long-term parnterships. This in turn reflects our desire for continuity, trust and cooperation.
